AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has sensationally revealed Arsenal are putting Emmanuel Adebayor up for sale.
Last night, Galliani said he had received a letter in which Arsenal said they had changed their position and were now open to a deal for Arsenal ace Emmanuel Adebayor.
"I will reveal to you a scoop," Galliani said, "I have received a letter from Arsenal that says, 'Following our communication of June 13, in which we informed you we were not willing to deal over Adebayor, now we are writing to tell you that we will consider a deal if it still interests you'."
"If Adebayor decides to leave Arsenal, we are certainly interested," he said.
Galliani made it clear he is still interested in signing the Togo international, who scored 30 goals in 48 games for Arsenal last year.
As I said yesterday, Wenger should not hang-on Adebayor, there is plenty young talents that capable being Arsenal target striker next season.
And another news reported that Arsenal must break the bank for £24m if they're to sign Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Andrei Arshavin.
What a expensive price tag for players likes Arshavin as Wenger not rated him so highly.
Alexander Hleb claims has reacted with horror to quotes attributed to him in which he is critical of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and team-mate Cesc Fabregas.
Two of Tuesday's newspapers carried quotes from the Belarussian who appeared to have hit out at Wenger for his tactics and Fabregas for his selfishness.
But Hleb, who is expected to leave The Gunners this summer, told his personal website that he still has the utmost respect for both men.
"I am shocked at some media reports," he said. "In some newspapers it was mentioned that I have attacked Arsene Wenger and Cesc Fabregas. But let me tell you - this is not true! The statements in the papers are definitely not my statements.
"I would never ever say something disrespectful about them. And there is a simple reason for this - Cesc is a very good friend of mine and Arsene is one of the persons I respect most."
Blackburn have had to pay extras for Bentley in terms of achievements and England caps, with around £3m paid by them to Arsenal. There would now be an extra windfall for Wenger from any sale.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is monitoring David Bentley's situation at Blackburn Rovers as Arsenal will receive a percentage of the sell-on fee as the Gunners kept a 'stake' in him.
Blackburn Rovers want top price for want-away winger David Bentley.
The Mirror says Blackburn will sell unhappy England star Bentley - but Tottenham, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Everton have all been told that the price is a staggering £17million.
Hard-bargaining chairman John Williams will hold out for the stunning fee as the auction starts in earnest for the wide man who wants out of the Lancashire club.
