One year after the first publication of the top 50 salaries of footballers, a team of Finance Football returns to update the table of the best paid players in the world. The main feature of the table this year goes to the sharp devaluation of the pound against the Euro, which made her fall in ranking some of the biggest stars to act in the Premier League. Moreover, there were some contract renewals of the best players in leagues Italian and Spanish, which have significantly influenced the top of the list, this year, without mastery of the English League for the remaining of Europe.
NOTES: The figures are the result of research carried out in more than 30 publications related to world football. Among them, the major newspapers and magazines in the countries of the 7 major leagues worldwide. The figures are unofficial and approximate, and depend on new contracts and renewals contracts . May over time be differences in relation to figures due to exchange rate.
